Rita Chowdhury

Rita Chowdhury is the Principal of Integrate Legal, a boutique immigration law firm. Rita holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong. Rita is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia. Rita is also a Notary Public.

Rita has over 15 years’ experience having led immigration practices at a large international commercial law firm, a big four accounting firm, and an international private client law firm. Since establishing her own immigration practice, Rita has become a sought after and highly regarded Australian immigration advisor.

Rita's clients range from individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses to large multinational companies.

Rita is recognised for her ability to understand her clients' needs and aspirations and her ability to provide results in a timely and efficient manner. She is known locally and globally, for her responsiveness, high quality client service and technical knowledge.

Rita was awarded the inaugural Lawyers Weekly 2016 Partner of the Year Award in the Migration category. In 2018 Rita was again nominated and shortlisted as a finalised.

Rita has been recognised by Who’s Who Legal in both the global immigration lawyer and Australian lawyer categories. She is a Fellow of the Migration Institute of Australia which is the peak body for the migration profession in Australia.

Rita has held executive positions on the Law Council of Australia’s Migration Law Committee and the Migration Institute of Australia NSW Committee.

Rita has taught subjects in the Australian National University’s Graduate Diploma of Migration Law. She was an active member of the Migration Institute of Australia’s professional development program and qualified as an Accredited Educator of the MIA.

A sought-after conference speaker, Rita was one of the few Australian immigration lawyers asked to present at the International Bar Association’s 2017 Annual Conference in Sydney.
